Remedy Options
Eligible consumers may choose one of the following remedies.
Full Refund
Receive a full cash refund of the applicable refund amount.
120% Store Credit
Receive GOBI store credit equal to 120% of the applicable refund amount.
Promotional or Gift Units
Consumers who received recalled hand warmers as a promotional item or gift with another GOBI purchase may receive $20 in store credit.

Follow these steps to submit your recall claim.
Confirm Model UT3053
Check the underside of the hand warmers and confirm that the model number is UT3053.
Write “RECALLED”
Clearly write RECALLED on each recalled hand warmer using permanent marker.
Your hand warmers should be clearly marked RECALLED before taking your claim photo.
Take a Photo
Take a clear photo showing both the RECALLED marking and the model number.
Sign In & Select “Warranty claim”
Sign into the GOBI customer portal and select Warranty claim. Follow the prompts to submit the required information and photo.
Important: After Signing In
Once you are signed into the GOBI customer portal, select Warranty claim to begin your recall claim.
Warranty claimNo Longer Have the Product?
If you purchased a recalled unit but no longer have it in your possession, GOBI will be able to verify the purchase through its order records. In these cases, you will be asked to complete an attestation instead of providing a photo of the unit.
Important Disposal Information
Complete your recall claim before disposing of your hand
warmers.
If you still have the recalled product, you will need to mark it
“RECALLED” and submit the required photo before disposal.
DO NOT place this defective lithium-ion battery or device in household trash, curbside recycling, general recycling, or standard used-battery recycling boxes.
Defective lithium-ion batteries require special disposal because
they present a greater risk of fire.
Contact your local

hazardous waste collection center before bringing the hand warmer
in and confirm that the facility accepts
defective lithium-ion batteries.
If it does not, contact your municipality for additional disposal
