Yes. The Arcadia is made with a wind and water-resistant polyester shell, so light rain and snow will bead off. It's built for real winter conditions , just keep in mind it's water-resistant, not fully waterproof, so prolonged heavy downpours may eventually soak through.

How do I wash my Arcadia without damaging the heating elements?

Remove the battery and tuck the charging cable back into the battery pocket. Then machine wash and dry on gentle cycles. The conductive thread heating technology is woven into the fabric and designed to hold up to regular washing , no special detergent needed.

Does the removable hood affect the jacket's warmth?

The hood adds an extra layer of wind protection around your head and neck, but the five heat zones (chest, stomach, and back) work the same whether the hood is on or off. You can remove it for a cleaner look without losing any heated performance.
